Master Prod Sched Analyst Sr in  GAC Savannah

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years of related experience in either master production scheduling or project management administration. Knowledge of aircraft processes and procedures relating to engineering design, production and budget.

Position Purpose:

Manages and maintains a module of the co-production operations master schedule. Provides variance reports to the master schedule on a daily basis.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Integrates GIV, GV, spares, periodic maintenance, tool conversion, ASCs, flight test and other elements within the scheduling module.
  2. Interfaces with the Department Managers to status, forecast, and build recovery plans to the master schedule. .
  3. Provides variance reports to the master schedule.
  4. Analyzes scheduling data for variability, cohesiveness and accuracy.
  5. Develops what if models necessary to assist co-production strategic planning.
  6. Provides detailed information to the main frame scheduling database.
  7. Manages the route card release function.
  8. Provides delivery dates and status as the single point of contact for all post production requirements (spares, completion center, flight test, etc.) .

Additional Functions:
  1. Conducts daily schedule status meetings. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Understanding of resource planning, rough cut capacity planning, detail capacity planning, crew loading, resource leveling and cost schedule control.
  2. Demonstrates knowledge of MRP.
  3. Demonstrates knowledge of analytical and mathematical skills.
  4. Proficiency in personal computer applications such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel (spreadsheets) and Power Point.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
