Manager Systems Management in  GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field preferred. 6 years of experience with SCCM, Software Distribution and Enterprise Device Management, support to include two (2) years of managing professional level employees or medium to large, cross-functional teams or projects.

Position Purpose:

The Manager of Systems Management will oversee support team responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting enterprise SCCM, Airwatch, Sophos and Casper deployments.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Ensure operational processes are followed within the Systems Management space (SCCM, Capser, Airwatch, Sophos) .
  2. Ensure the environment is maintained in accordance with company standards and leading practices.
  3. Track support team performance, metrics, and prioritize support efforts across the organization.
  4. Lead and participate in engagements that have a strong business & technology focus .
  5. Manage incident resolution within the environment, facilitating collaboration among other infrastructure and business service support teams as required.
  6. Serve as an escalation point support teams for major incidents, and escalate to the appropriate Gulfstream stakeholders as required.
  7. Ensure root cause analysis is performed in accordance with Gulfstream policies and standards.
  8. Collaborate with enterprise architecture to evaluate and recommend tools and processes that enhance the stability and functionality of the server environment, ensuring that any new technologies are compatible with existing Gulfstream architecture and standards.
  9. Define and establish service definitions.
  10. Constantly drive for process improvement.

Other Requirements:
  1. Ability to lead and manage third party IT support teams, understanding and enforcing contractual obligations, and managing both operational and financial aspects of a third party agreement.
