Unique Skills:

Mechanical Design Engineer:

Position involves work on aircraft interior design integration of electrical systems, components, and furniture installations.

Knowledge of 3D design sofftware.  Office Products such as Power Point, Project, Word and Excel
Knowledge of CATIA V5-SmarTeam/Enovia is a plus.                            

Under Direct Supervision - Duties and Responsibilities include: 

• Selecting appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve engineering issues
• Approach to problem solving balances technical product, cost and schedules.
• Exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments and makes decisions and recommendations to determine appropriate direction.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Other Requirements:
    1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.

    2. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.

    3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.

    4. Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.

    5. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).

    6. Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.

    7. Must have reliable transportation.
    This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
